I managed to buy a collection of lp's, and one of the records (if you
have to ask what a record is, don't bother reading the rest of this!
:-) ) is an album by Brave Records in Harvey, IL. The lp is named
Bobbie Thomas Guitarist Extraordinary. The now-defunct Valco Guitars,
Inc in Elk Grove, IL sponsored him and came out with a line called the
Bobbie Thomas Model. Does anyone know if the guitarist is still around,
what he's doing, or anything else about Mr. Thomas?

I can't find a date on the record, but I'm guessing somewhere around
'50s or early '60s judging by the clothes. Boy, that's a stretch, me
judging clothes! My wife won't let me out of the house before she
    checks on my attire...

Any help, contact me via email, rjcokel@midwest.net-my usual hangout.

    Thanks

Bobbie went to Las Vegas where he became Wayne Newton's lead guitarist!
Then Bobbie went to work for Merrill Lynch...he and his wife ran a
Bernie Madoff style scam...Bobbie was on the run as a fugitive until
he finally surrendered himself to the police in 2004.
    True Story!!!
