So... why would anyone ever want to listen
to "The worst Liebesträume on record"?

To establish a baseline and to learn how
this music should not be performed. The
French call this "apprendre par fuire", as
opposed to the conventional "apprendre
par suivre". It helps focus the brain and
develop critical listening skills.

So... why wouldn't you instead recommend
the "best Liebesträume on record" instead?
Would that not also be a baseline?

If Klien is the worst, than this must be the best:

Definitely not the best, however
not nearly as STIFF as Klien.
Dan, my good man. Congratulations on finding
another german/austrian pianist to hate.
Klien´s Liebestraum is to me perfectly adequate
and I would be very interested in hearing your
favourite performances of the old warhorse.

As expected - even if Soerjadi is the most affected,
attention-hungry, a-musical composer and piano-
playing Mickey Mouse fan who ever saw the light
of day.
