Very ugly steely sound. He should
    have skipped this piece altogether.

May I respectfully ask what drives
    you towards retarded pianists? Can
you point out the "exact moments"

When you have a i-e or e-i in German, the second one is pronounced as a
long sound. Hence Theilemann is Tile-uh-mahn.

I find the expression "defective" quite curious; as if taste were something that could be repaired, as if you were a machine with a malfunction. I don't think that your taste is defective, Bob, you just have bad taste - maybe you can still develop a good
one. Well, at least you seem to have a better taste wrt composers than Dan... which is probably more important than a good taste in performances.

performances quite satisfactory, the concertos more than that. YMMV. Sorry.

I remember the sonatas being very bad (haven't listened to him playing Mozart concertos). And Dan seems to describe quite well what is wrong with Klien's approach.

If you think Klien's Sonatas are "quite satisfactory" and the concertos even "more than that", I wonder what pianists you consider non-satisfactory in Mozart? I mean, you can't get much worse than Klien...
