    It looked like a spectacular concert with a huge outdoor audience of people who seemed receptive and happy to be there. So I decided in watching it not to look for anything to criticize. The pianist played with tremendous poise and sensitive musicality.
    There were times when you got the chilling feeling that you were watching Chopin reincarnated because of his looks.

    After it was over, I had only one reservation. The Chopin F minor concerto is written in an episodic way, particularly the first two movements which was put across very nicely, however, somehow the interpretation needed more unity in feeling in order to
    hold the episodes together. This might’ve been the Conductors shortcoming. It felt a little too disjointed. Pearls on a string so to speak is the ideal for me in this work. As much classic in sprit as romantic.

    I would like to hear more from this pianist in the future.
