dkFor a long time I would would listen to Mozart sonatas each morning, to start the day. I remember I enjoyed Kaja Danczowska with Kristian Zimerman, and György Pauk with Peter Frankl.

I do not like Frankl and Pauk and I can't imagine I like the other two you mentioned - Zimerman. Richter/Kagan as you mentioned are surely better. I'm actually thinking about purchasing it now. Actually Beaux Farts. I cannot stand Pressler.
I think the Kagan/Richter Mozart recording on Live Classics is worth a listen - even though it’s maybe a bit short on gemütlichkeit.

I tried to listen to Schnabel and Szigeti do k481 last night and I thought it was neither elegant nor refined nor delicate. I’ll stick with Dancowska and Zimerman in that sonata at least, they seem less coarse to me. .
I just realized haha - I did not listen to Zimerman, but Zimmerman and Lonquich.
Anyway from what I heard of Zimerman as of yet he seems to be very bad...
