    Sucks... it encapsulates "everything" that is wrong with "art" today; this is not art.

    As Adorno put it: "A successful work of art is not one which resolves contradictions in a spurious harmony, but one which expresses the idea of harmony negatively by embodying the contradictions, pure and uncompromised, in its innermost structure."

    This is a work that resolves contradictions in spurious harmony; giving listeners a soothing effect, numbing their minds, reinforcing their false consciousness; all in all perfect for Dan who does not like to think much.

    The only great Dutch composer. I prefer the two-piano version of the Ostinato.
