The Burleske mercilessly and ruthlessly exposes the
thinness, hollowness, lack of weight, and brittleness
of her tone. Gary Graffman, what have you wrought ?!?

A great performance in its own way. Not everyone is a Byron Janis or Weissenberg.

I beg to differ. Even ignoring the thin, hollow tone, there
are too many awkward phrases and smeared passages.
The latter are really inexcusable for a fingerfertigkeit
    champ like La Wang.

If one likes to hear lightness and playfulness in the
Burleske, Martha Argerich plus Abbado is as good
    as it gets:

Not everyone is a Byron Janis or Weissenberg.

Both very good, though not even close to Richter,
whom a heard live a couple of times during the
    1960s.

her musicality is often lightweight and is reflected in her tone.
