    OMG Pathetique, New World, we're truly in Classic FM now.

    Diakun's left arm / hand mirrors her right hand exactly, so that's a waste.

    It's the easiest way to spot whether a conductor knows what he's doing.

    I don't care about hand movements, and I wouldn't notice them
    anyway since I don't watch. All I do is just listen. If you want
    to see a "konduktor" with disastrous technique just look at
    Furtwanglersky.

    I only care about results, not about methods or techniques.

    Of course not. I don't play in an orchestra. I sit in the audience.

    I do realize players in an orchestra need to take cues from a
    conductor, and that how conductors move their hands, their
    eyes, and their toothpicks, can and does make a difference.
