    I don't know he ever said, only that he was Liszt's student and relative, and the editor of Beethoven's piano sonatas. He may be a funny man, but his words are not. I have always believed that if one wants to be a good pianist, one should spend more
    time listening to a good singer, preferably a soprano or tenor.
