• Wiener Zeitung about Israel

From Marc S@21:1/5 to All on Wed Feb 15 23:50:49 2023
A viennese newspaper about Israel - let's see how the descendants of the Nazis talk about Israel:

    - Headline: "Israel was ripe for the current government"
    - Painting of an IDF-Soldier in KKK-outfit
    - "Antisecular culture war"
    - "Jewish suprematism"
    - A self-hating Jew named "Eva Illouz" is quoted: "If you want to understand how the Israelis tick, you should look at the KKK."

Typical paternalistic behaviour of the descendants of the Nazis. Only quoting jewish antisemites and morally lecturing Israel... is this not ironic?

Must be great being a Jew in Vienna these days... better than in 1940 definitely.

Non-Jews (like Andy and Henk and Herman etc) being constantly bombarded with such partial "reporting" on Israel, will surely develop anti-israel bias; I am not trying to excuse them, as they are old enough to inform themselves - just explaining how
    people become brainwashed.

the irony is you are constantly berating Jewish members here for being self-hating. So why dontcha look in the mirror?
You are the nr 1 antisemite here.

the word you were looking for is "partisan". I doubt however anyone here is reading the Wiener Zeitung.
    I don't have an "anti-Israel bias". I'm weird, I have an anti-killing bias.

If you want to believe this, that's your choice; every reasonable person knows that you are projecting again.

Since you assume that Israel is the side that is doing the "unjust" killing, you have an anti-israel bias. Never did I see you talking about Palestinians doing the "big killing" which is a more accurate description of reality; only about Israel => you
have anti-israel bias. Very simple to understand - not for brainwashed fools like you ofc.

This is true. My grandparents were Nazis; they were not a member of the party, but they surely - from the stories I heard - did admire Hitler in one way or the other - at best they were "neutral" maybe. My grandparents never spoke about the events - in
general, as I have explained so often, the Germans view themselves as victims of the Nazis, while in reality they were the perpetrators; it's a psychological coping-reaction. Imagine what my grandparents (and your grandparents very likely as well dear
Herman), would have told you if Hitler had won the war? We can be sure, they would have told me what a great guy he was, and how the Germans liberated the world from the evil Jews.

So if you want to do justice and act morally, you have to acknowledge reality in the first place (which you obviously have troubles with).

Instead of criticising how the Viennese Newspaper paints Israelis as Members of the KKK, you attack me? Your parents failed to educate you. And you failed to educate yourself. First lesson after the shoah has to be: that is never must happen again (
    Adorno).

To quote Adorno about how the Germans suppressed what they did: "A very great number claim not to have known of the events at that time, although Jews disappeared everywhere and although it is hardly believable that those who experienced what happened in
the East cosntantly kept silent about what must have been for them an unbearable burden; surely one may assume that there is a relation between the attitude of "not having known anything about it" and an impassive and apprehensive indifference.""

And it shows, the way you keep telling Jews they are "self hating".
The next stop is the oven.

Again you are twisting facts. The next stop for the Jews would be the oven, if they continued to hate themselves as much as Eva Illouz hates the Jews; or if they hated Israel (*Jews in the end) as much as you do.

The next stop for the Jews would be the oven, if they followed the "advice" of the Viennese Newspaper.

    Thanks for visiting my thread.

I have a bit of trouble understanding how Jews like Al Eisner take a guy like you, who imagined that there exist "people who hate the jews, but love israel", seriously. You don't seem to understand that Israel is actually a Jewish Nation, whether you
    like it or not.

Keep in mind it's you that is feeding Israel and the Jewish people to the antisemites.

The way you react (*you are reactionary) is quite easy to explain: since your only "friends" that you have in your life are antisemites, you will ally yourself with them and shit on your relatives that perished during the shoah.

Proof that Dan has double standards: Dan lectures Henk about Israel, but is friendly with Andy even though Andy said the same shit about Israel as Henk did.

Thank God Israel is not in the hands of self-hating Jews like Dan, mswd, Goodzeit and the rest.

To explain the behaviour of Dan, mswd, Al Eisner, James Goodzeit and other self-hating Jews: It is a psychological surrender in the face of overwhelming antisemitism.

"The historian Bernard Wasserstein prefers the term "Jewish anti-Semitism," which he says was often termed "Jewish self-hatred". He asks, "Could a Jew be an anti-Semite?", and responds that many Jews have "internalized elements of anti-Semitic discourse,
succumbed to what Theodore Hamerow has called psychological surrender." Wasserstein goes on to say that self-hating Jews, "afflicted by some form of anti-Semitism[,] were not so much haters of themselves as haters of 'other' Jews.""

I view this a little differently than Wasserstein (as I would still call Dan etc self-hating Jews; psychologically speaking), but he is not completely wrong and gets some things right. According to Wasserstein Jews like Dan are antisemites.

This ng is such a sad place honestly - it is full of antisemites, racists and bigots and generally very bitter and uneducated people; even the Jews here are antisemitic to a large extent.

In a sense I guess Herman is right about Dan being a racist (especially wrt Germans), but he is not just a racist, he is also an antisemite who is sick to his soul.

What an experience talking about antisemitism on here... Honestly, I have not met Jews this ignorant about this matter, not only ignorant, but antisemitic; the Jews I met and know are more like Richard Schultz.

The opening sentence in the article is misleading:

"To put it simply, two opposite directions have been fighting
in Israel for some time to achieve their political goals."

The main fighting about Israel is outside Israel.

"Illouz could be right when she demands that anyone who is a
friend of the Jewish state must now speak out."

Of course they are speaking out, Israel demands to be the
center of attention as it's a constant topic in Jewish
    journalism.

But shouldn't opponents of Israel also speak out?
