    Thanks for sharing these unfamiliar works of Brahms. It is also good to
    hear Virgil Fox - his recordings are always interesting and he was
    another of those artists - like Mario Lanza, Leonard Pennario, etc. -
    who were stigmatized for being popular.

    He might have been on to something - maybe many a Bruckner performance
    could be enlivened by one of the Virgil Fox light shows?

    I see you also posted on the Tom Deacon tribute discussion. I'm actually surprised with this one, I would have thought he would have advocated Cochereau for these pieces.

    There are 2-discs of the Hammond Castle recordings available(?) on Amazon as made-to-order CD-R'OM discs, including the Brahms chorale preludes. I'll have to check those out.
