I correct to understand he created the largely successful Duo series
for Philips? I know of the nicely remastered Arrau box and the
recently discussed Schmidt-Isserstedt Beethoven box. What others were there? Mark’s post leads me to believe there have been numerous
    others.

I’m not issuing any opinion on TD’s work and I’m not asking for any, I’m just curious as to his record of reissues that may be directly credited to him. Of course, the best one to answer would be Tom, but

In a nutshell, Tom Deacon had the job that every poster at RMCR wishes
they had had, and he excelled at that position. If you've got any kind
of classical collection at all, it has TD's fingerprints all over it.
It would be nice if reissue producers were credited in the liner notes, that way we might be able to tally just how many (and which ones) Tom had been responsible.

My goodness, it's hard to believe how ugly this 2010 topic is.
At least three participants have since passed on (Schaeffer, Deacon and Wiser) and one wonders whether they wouldn't have wanted to spend their time better than this...

I recall reading some of TDs old posts. What I read came from a bigoted creep.

"Bigoted creep" is a pretty apt description
of the institutional classical music industry.
