    Very closely miked to the point of being painful to hear.
    Some interesting ideas, horribly dry percussive attack.
    There seems to be a trend afoot among competition
    winners to play as dryly and percussively as possible.

    Bruce Liu, YC Lim, Evgeny Bozhanov and others are
    either unable, unwilling, or both, to play with a true
    finger legato.

    This is a great version, not a wild one. Jacquinot's version is refined, not wild.

    Yes, of course, I never claimed it was wild.
    It is my preferred version. It would also be
    my first recommendation, except for the
    dated sound.
