The problem is: Celibidache might have a few valid points, but he fails to express them in a meaningful way; in the end he just talks without saying anything at all... Same in the videos of him "teaching" young musicians; basically just endless shit
talking, leaving the students confused. In the end all these courses seemed to have been about Celibidache in the first place; the young musicians were only there for Celibidache to feel good about himself - poor people honestly...

Celibidache is completely lacking self-awareness (I thought buddhism was all about awareness?); he is just an arrogant douche that is full of himself. His talent lies in creating beautiful textures, that's it.

Karajan is still better in Beethoven and Sibelius (probably even Wagner; can't speak about Bruckner).
