    I kind of like this music I think - there’s something about it which intrigues. Anyone any suggestions about who to hear playing it - at the moment I’ve got Hamelin, which seems fine. But there may be some interesting alternative ideas.

    Hamelin is fine. There are not many complete sets. Besides Hamelin I've also Bartoli:

    Thanks for mentioning Tanski. I discovered the music through that recording -- bought on a whim in the 1980s. I no longer have the CD but I've been racking my brains trying to remember what it was!

    Now exploring Roland Pöntinen play the Indianisches Tagebuche. Well worth a listen I’d say.

    But Gianluca Cascioli is better. This is good music.
