I get this data from the booklet of an Aura CD:

that I wanted for a while because it had his last recorded
Franck prelude, choral and fugue, from 1994, but didn't buy
until I saw this out of print CD recently in a real record store
for $4.95. This is cheaper than the current $79.95 price or
the $25 or so price it was recently so this is another
rebuttal to the claim that CDs are "always cheaper online".
The timings printed on the cover are about the same as his
1955 Melodiya recording, but I haven't listened to it yet,
I'm a bit slow myself though I don't drive as slow as Richter.

Good man. I don't drive fast either. Shame that doesn't make me a better pianist......

When I think "slow" and "Richter" I think of Schubert Sonata 18 in G. The first movement takes 27 minutes.

Being Richter, he obviously makes it work at that tempo.

On the contrary, on many of the roads where he
drove 80 kph was really fast!
