Has Furtwangler accompanying Schwarzkopf already been mentioned?

And what about Levine accompanying Battle?

Szell trivia: Loewe's Prinz Eugen and Der Erlkönig with Michael Bohnen, c. 1926.

Svetlanov is very impressive with an equally impressive Alexander Labko in the 3 Medtner Violin Sonatas.

Ditto James Levine in chamber music of Poulenc on DG.

Enescu wasn't merely a pianist. He was playing piano as orchestrally

operas on the piano, from memory.
The number of recordings, especially accompaniments but also a couple
of solos from the Suites, featuring Enescu as a pianist is
surprisingly high. Mostly his own works, including extremely demanding
piano parts such as the one in the Seocnd Cello Sonata.

He actually played the piano better than he played the violin.

If you search Yourube for KRIPS KONETZNI, you will find a couple of lieder recordings.

Really surprised no one has mentioned Cortot's recordings as accompanist. Not only those with Maggie Teyte, but also his first ever recordings with Felia Litvinne.
