    I don't feel uncomfortable with my 'cynicism'. I'm uncomfortable with humanity (as opposed to individual human beings).

    In my world, discomfort with humanity means wanting to limit the
    power of any particular individual (or company, role, etc.) --
    certainly not a shrug as to desire to acquire such power.
