• Deleting in Google

From Roger Ford@21:1/5 to All on Mon Nov 13 23:04:02 2023
Ok you PC experts out there....a question

How does one delete a message on this group in Google?

I see a "delete" button but it says I don't have permission to delete

Don't worry---I'm not after deleting genuine posts

I wanna rid myself of that MAGIC MUSHROOM shit that appeared on here overnight

in short, Google Groups offers global access to all posts (so what
gives 'little old you' the right to delete a message), as distinct
from these post being treated as personal in apps such as Agent

it's oh so easy to delete these shit posts in Agent :)

(and, Roger, the wholesome clear font in Agent is so much better to
read than the lighter and smaller font in Google - no doubt
considered cool by Google's youngish IT programmers)

the only significant downside to apps like Agent compared to Google
Groups is that, because Agent lists posts by topic and not by 'date',
posts to 'old' topics can be missed
