    THE CALENDARS - IF I COULD HOLD YOUR HAND

    Fred Bohn, Pittsburgh Collector and Store Owner (The Attic Records) recently paid 7K for a clean copy of this.

    this is the most expensive single postage stamp (as distinct from an envelope cover with stamp, or a small block of stamps);

    in 2014 the stamp sold for US$9,480,000;

    the image link itself tells you what the stamp is:

    https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/46/British_Guiana_1856_1c_magenta_stamp.jpg/1024px-British_Guiana_1856_1c_magenta_stamp.jpg

    this stamp is not at all attractive to look at,
    and the record above is not 'attractive' to listen to :-)

    Depends on who is doing the listening, but collectors don't just buy a record because of what it sounds like. If that's all they cared about they could download the sound for free.
