It goes back to 55 but there are only four songs for that year and two each for 56 and 57.
Most of the list is posted at alt.binaries.mp3.australian but i think a lot of the mid 50's songs are "missing"

Do you happen to know what the columns Rank, HP and WI mean?
For instance, Col Joye with "Oh Yeah, Uh Huh" is ostensibly #1 for
1959 but has Rank 5, HP 3, AND WI 14.
I see Johnny Devlin's first [Australian] appearance is "Doreen" in
1959, followed by "I Was The One". But these, I imagine so-so
recordings, were made after his excellent rock'n'roll hits - such as
"Big Green Car", "I Got A Rocket In My Pocket", "Straight Skirt" and
