• I was gonna ask Roger this, but then I thought of Bard....

And Roger may yet have a better timeline...

According to Bard, The Beatles & The Stones were the only ones prior to
    1964.

What was the timeline for the British Invasion groups first record
    release in the early 1960s

The British Invasion was a period in the mid-1960s when rock and pop
music acts from the United Kingdom became popular in the United States.
The following is a timeline of the first record releases by some of the
most popular British Invasion groups in the early 1960s:

    * *The Beatles:*The Beatles released their first single, "Love Me Do,"
in the United Kingdom in October 1962. The single was not a major
hit, but it did attract some attention from record labels in the
United States. The Beatles' first American single, "Please Please
Me," was released in January 1963 and reached number one on the
    Billboard Hot 100 chart.
    * *The Rolling Stones:*The Rolling Stones released their first single,
"Come On," in the United Kingdom in July 1963. The single reached
number 21 on the British charts. The Rolling Stones' first American
single, "I Wanna Be Your Man," was released in January 1964 and
reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
    * *The Dave Clark Five:*The Dave Clark Five released their first
single, "Glad All Over," in the United Kingdom in May 1964. The
single reached number one on the British charts and number two on
    the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
    * *Herman's Hermits:*Herman's Hermits released their first single,
"I'm into Something Good," in the United Kingdom in August 1964. The
single reached number one on the British charts and number one on
    the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
    * *The Animals:*The Animals released their first single, "House of the
Rising Sun," in the United Kingdom in September 1964. The single
reached number one on the British charts and number two on the
    Billboard Hot 100 chart.

These are just a few of the many British Invasion groups that released
their first records in the early 1960s. The British Invasion had a major
impact on popular music in the United States and helped to usher in a
new era of creativity and innovation in the music industry.

No, Bard is way off. Many of those groups had singles already in 1963, like the DC5, Searchers, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Billy J. Kramer & the Dakotas, Swinging Blue Jeans and Freddie & the Dreamers.

The first UK single with "Beatles" in the credits was "My Bonnie"
credited to Tony Sheridan & The Beatles on Polydor released in January
    1962

The first single under their EMI contract was indeed "Love Me Do" as
    already noted
    .
    * *The Rolling Stones:*The Rolling Stones released their first single,
"Come On," in the United Kingdom in July 1963.

Correct except that I have a June release date (taken from UK Decca
    record catalog)

    * *The Dave Clark Five:*The Dave Clark Five released their first
single, "Glad All Over," in the United Kingdom in May 1964.

    No wayyyyyyyyy!!! "

Glad All Over" was their SIXTH UK single (it wasn't even their first
    single under EMI contract)

    Pccadilly 35500 That's What I Said/I Knew It All The Time - Jun 62
    Ember 156 Chaquita/In Your Heart - Aug 62

Well, that's plain wrong. "Please Please Me" went nowhere near the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963. It charted a year later but peaked at #3, not #1.

I thought their first US charted single was "Not Fade Away," and that only peaked at something like #48.

    * *The Dave Clark Five:*The Dave Clark Five released their first
single, "Glad All Over," in the United Kingdom in May 1964. The
single reached number one on the British charts and number two on
    the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Where are they getting these chart peaks? "Glad All Over" reached #6, not #2.

    * *Herman's Hermits:*Herman's Hermits released their first single,
"I'm into Something Good," in the United Kingdom in August 1964. The
single reached number one on the British charts and number one on
    the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"I'm Into Something Good" peaked at #13.
