Ike and Tina Turner - Details of How They Met in 1960
From RWC@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jun 4 08:36:02 2023
Introducing a highly informative (and therefore also highly
entertaining) music web site that offers much detail about the
development of R&B and RnR music from 1939 onwards.
Each web page for the site represents a podcast (1 of 500) and has a *transcript of the podcast* and a Mixcloud audio link to a playlist of
all songs referenced and played during the podcast.

If she was born in 1939 (which she was) and they met when she was 16
(which she and others say they did), how could they have met in 1960?
I've read 17 (as one recall by Tina) but anyway she recorded 'Boxtop'
with Ike in 1958. 1960 was when they recorded 'A Fool In Love', with
Tina standing in for Art Lassiter who did not turn up for the session.
So yes, 1960 in the topic title is misleading, sorry.
