    George Maharis, born in Queens, died last Wednesday at age 94. Besides
    being an actor he also sang. He had FIVE singles that made the
    Billboard pop charts. Bet you don't remember any of them--I don't. And
    he did *not* sing the theme song to his hit TV show, "Route 66."

    Theme song wasn't sung at all.

    Nelson Riddle instrumental.

    Maharis might have been tickling the ivories.

    He and Michael Landon got way too much croon time on "Hullabaloo"
