In ten years the top five all time Yankee shortstops will be:

    1- Derek Jeter
    2- Anthony Volpe
    3- Phil Rizzuto
    4- Frankie Crosseti
    5- Tony Kubek

No facial hair amongst 'em, baby!!

You spelled Crosetti wrong. Volpe is gonna have a hard time passing Rizzuto in just 10 seasons. You missed the current #3 guy.

The current top 5 according to Baseball-Reference WAR as a Yankee:

    1 - Jeter - 71.3
    2 - Rizzuto - 42.2 (with WW2 credit I'd raise his WAR to 48.7
    3 - Peckinpaugh - 32.1
    4 - Crosetti - 24.5
    5 - Kubek - 18.4

Tresh is above Kubek, but he played more LF than SS.

And I suppose Mickey Stanley ranks higher than Donnie Bush for the Tigers.

Peckinpaugh was a Senator/Twin, below Joe Cronin and Cecil Travis but above Versalles

Sorry, but he played a lot more games for the Yankees (1219) than he did for the Senators (707).
