Never warmed to this Vincent number I'm afraid. It is from his "Crazy Times" album recorded in August 1959 (on the second day of a four day session) and released early in 1960. The backing on these sessions was arranged and provided by Capitol and
included one Sandy Nelson on drums.
You mean it was just him without the Blue Caps?
The overall quality of material here doesn't compare with Gene's earlier
albums tho one gem included is the cool rockin' "She She Little Sheila"
that proved popular enough over here for Capitol to pull it off the LP
as his latest single.
I like that one, it was on my jogging playlist. Hope some day I'll be
able to jog again.
