No Tony Bennett. No Bing Crosby.

Jackie Wilson at #121, just below Charlie Rich.

John Lennon the top white singer of all time.

Lou Reed at #107, above Jackie Wilson

Clyde McPhatter #99, below Chuck Berry and Mick Jagger.

Bob Dylan at #15, above Elvis. Bob let's hear you do "It's Now Or Never" and hit that not at the end on the word "love."

At least there's no white people in the top 10.

That doesn't bother me much, Fats was not a great singer, although he's certainly better than Chuck Berry.

    Holy Fuck!

I just realized Joe Turner is not on the list.

Well, they included so many people who can/could barely sing (Janis
Joplin and the 3 Jewish guys) that you would think they'd include Fats
and Jerry Lee. And Ray Price.

I noticed the absence of Joe Turner too.

When this list was first published the big to-do was that they left off
    Celine Dion.

    Yes.
Neil Diamond isn't on the list. Neither are Lenny Kravitz and Drake.
I think Eddie Vedder is Jewish but I don't know if he can sing or not.

I can't argue with their #1 pick, though I certainly could argue with the rest of the list. But I'd rather do something more constructive with my time, like watching paint dry.

    Ditto

Far and away the main value of any music list is the mere existence of
an artist or song on that list no matter what the ranking. These lists
act as a reminder of, or as an introduction to, artists or songs that
can be followed up and perhaps listened to, once more or for the first
time - made easier of course if corresponding YouTube links are
included in the list or are made available in a separate playlist.
