guitarists ? Not necessarily lead acts like these, just great guitarists.
My favorite guitarist is Charlie Christian.
Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins are some great ones that I
played with.

maybe not, all were influential on me in some way or other:

records as sideman done in Louisiana); Sid Manker ("Raunchy"); Bob
Bogle; Don Wilson; Duane Eddy; Grady Martin; Hank Garland; Luther
Perkins; Don Lanier; Billy King; Francis Beecher; Danny Cedrone; James
Burton; Phil Harvey (Spector); Freddie King; Robert Ward; Lonnie Mack;
Mickey Baker; Chuck Berry; Muddy Waters; Billy Butler; Willie Johnson;
Hubert Sumlin; Travis Wammack; Ray Ceroni (Bell Notes).
Ones I remember from Ohio: Sammy Reid; Pal Jennings; Roger Sayre;
Larry Lee; Bob Carrie.
Others I have worked with: Amos Garrett; David Wilcox (the Canadian);
Don Leady; Buddy Whittington; Dan Forte and the late brothers Bruton,
