It's a beautiful guitar part by John. I'm not a fan of his lead guitar, but he did some fine rhythm work.
Too bad AtU is one of the many Beatles songs he had to bitch about in his last interviews. He promoted his feeble solo stuff and bitched about songs like "Strawberry Fields" and "Across the Universe."
