    Hmm, however May and Yoko were certainly pushing John in opposite directions. May encouraged his musical and social lives; while Yoko derailed and -- after his return to the Dakota -- ended both. The two women could not have been more different.

    May was eager to reunite Lennon and McCartney; Yoko intervened just in time to prevent such a collaboration.
