I seem to remember Paul citing Burt Bacharach as one of his favorite
composers in a '60s interview.
I always thought the "voice choir" in Ram's "Dear Boy" owed a lot to Bacharach's "South American Getaway" from the 1969 Butch Cassidy & The
Sundance Kid soundtrack.
