Only if you promise to put the toothpick away. I don't want that think
    poking me.

LOL! I remember in that gallery of members' pics that used to be online, Ole MC did indeed have glazed eyes and a toothpick jutting from his mouth.

Since we talked about it yesterday, it put that spark in my brain to
have a dream about some here in RMB. Here it is; analyze away!
    -------
Marcus was at my grandparents' house visiting with a bunch of other
people (relatives, I suppose). We saw a man out the front window looking
in to see what was going on. I think it was Baba Oh Really. He was
taking notes like a reporter and trying to see what was going on. I
thought I'd be funny and ask Marcus about his book and tell him how much
I admire his political views (which is in opposition of my views). I was really laying it on heavy, so the guy out front was laughing so hard he
    fell down.
Then, I was leaving a friend's house and Marcus was sitting in his car
out front. He was in the back seat and tried to hide behind a book. I
walked up to the other door and opened it. He was much younger than I
know him to be and had short, black curly hair, much like a younger Tony Shalhoub (Monk). We started talking and that was it. The dream went in a different direction, sans Marcus.
    --------
This is in no way a slight against Marcus. I can't help who appears in
    my thoughts during shut-eye time.

I forget what I was looking for when I dredged this thread up. But it's an interesting reminder. We may have lost some angry, foul-mouthed, misogynistic types (cough::Lord Valve::cough), but this group has lost some interesting, funny posters as well -
    some real characters.
