• Albert Goldman Comments on John's Ocean Voyage to Bermuda

From Norbert K@21:1/5 to All on Wed Oct 12 05:18:41 2022
According to Albert Goldman, Lennon instructed his assistant Fred Seaman to purchase a small sailboat in Cold Spring Harbor in May of 1980. The owner of the local marina, Tyler Coneys, gave Lennon and Seaman some instruction in sailing the vessel,
which Lennon named the Isis. Lennon developed the desire to sail across the Atlantic to the Thames.

Yoko welcomed the idea of Lennon embarking on an extended sea voyage, but insisted -- supposedly at the instruction of her numerologist Takashi Yoshikawa -- that Lennon should sail to Bermuda.

    According to Albert Goldman:

Though this decision harmonized both John's and Yoko's desires, it demands to be pondered. For years Yoko had told John that he needed to be protected from himself, that if he were allowed to go free, something dreadful would befall him. Now she
was suddenly cutting him loose to sail for days across the Atlantic Ocean, past stormy Cape Hatteras, and into the Bermuda Triangle, in a small vessel manned by an unknown crew. What's more, instead of exercising her customary control over every detail,
she allowed all the arrangements to be made by Tyler Coneys, about whom she knew nothing.

The journey to Bermuda was taken, per Coneys' plan, on a schooner called the Megan Jayne.

    Interesting.
If we add to this Yoko's use of different types of witchcraft/black magic we might ask ourselves if she thought something might happen to him out at sea...
BTW, John's buying a boat in May and calling it Isis brings to mind the Bob Dylan song...

That's what I've been getting at.

Oh, good catch! Tha's from one of Dylan's better albums. Emmylou Harris is on that one. Her beautiful vocal harmonies can seemingly make anyone sound like a million bucks.

You are making a good case for John to have been a victim of trauma-based mind control, and the sea trip as Yoko intentionally sending him into harm's way by using black magic..he did make that voyage and he did end up in a terrible storm...
Ironically, Dyan makes mention of a boat in Roll On, John... https://www.bobdylan.com/songs/roll-john/
