• Grammy winner for Album Of The Year

I'm listening to it right now. It sounds to me like an update on the great Stevie Wonder albums of the 70s. No wonder it won for Album of the Year even thought it did not crack the top 80 on the Billboard LP chart. It's like what Stevie would have done
if he was born in 1995 rather than 1950.

The rest seem very worthy though with a good variety of styles, though
maybe overall a little sterile. Would love to hear a hi-fi version - the Youtube audio doesn't help with all the dynamics compressed to hell.

I was referring to the Youtube sound quality that you complained about. It sounds fine to me. As for the music on the album, let's just say if I actually can listen to a full album from nowadays then I think it's pretty good. I can't stand most modern
music, and I especially hate Alternative music.

I guess I'm into music and hi-fi, and YouTube fine for 'casual'
listening at the computer (like one would listen to FM or TV broadcast),
but not for 'serious music listening'.

With you on the 'current music' thing, with a few exceptions. And

Yes, they are alternative. I didn't mind "Radio Free Europe."

I hate all that shit like Radiohead, Nirvana, Pearl Jam. the Smiths etc. I hear a bunch of guys who can't sing being able to make records because it became more about lyrics, attitude, world view etc. than about musical talent. That all started with the
Velvet Underground, who I also can't stand.

Other than "Money" which is great due to the "Green Onions" connection, and "Another Brick In The Wall" which is good, I can't stand anything else by Pink Floyd, including this new thing they just released about Ukraine that you posted the link to.
    Sorry for you.

Sorry for you that you've missed many thousands of great songs from before the 1960s because of your conditioning towards white guys with guitars.

It's not me who is stuck in a rut.

I guarantee that I listen to WAY more different tracks than you do. I have about 250,000 tracks on MP3, not to mention about 25,000 45's and maybe 5,000 albums in my house, and another 2500 or so CDs.

Listening to more modern music in no way means you are not in a rut.
