• Yoko interviewed by Kate Pierson

Interesting interview. Funny moment around 13:30 when Kate says people were disappointed when Yoko met John because it ruined her career, considering he was the reason she propably ever managed to record anything because of him.

Kate Pierson says, almost apologetically, that "We weren't really aware of punk music." Does she imagine that Yoko was? Yoko admittedly never bought records or listened to the radio. She didn't have the slightest idea what punk music was; she was
merely eager to grab credit for it. Yoko is to music and art what Trump is to history and international relations: a vacuous poseur.

I was never into the B-52s' debut which many say owes a nod to Yoko but
Cosmic Thing is a satisfying album from start to finish. The follow-up
Good Stuff has some good moments also but more filler, they should've
    whittled it down some.
