There are some good little recordings of Donovan & McCartney together working on things such as "Heather" and "Blackbird" on Youtube. Actually, McCartney appears to be doing all the work while Donovan occasionally comments. Leitch says in his
autobiography that he and McCartney weren't good collaborators because each had very clear ideas as to how his songs should be.
