Does anyone think the Starqueen's voice will last for three years?
There'd better be plenty of off days and a miraculous medical
procedure that none of us know about......

I also read where the Fat Bat is stating that if the Alconaut or any
other ex-member wants to make an appearance it will have to be sans
make up. I can see that lunatic Vinnie Vincent giving up the power of
the Ankh but will the Alconaut come out in street clothes and stand
    next to the Brown Starfish?

I don't see Kiss going on for much longer. I'm sure Gene and his wife as
well as Paul and his wife have been talking about a post Kiss life in
    the near future.
I would venture to guess that they have one more major tour in the works
before they do the final encore. This may involve some of the former
    members?
Gene has been playing unplugged with Ace, Peter, Vinnie Vincent in the
last few months. I think the time is coming!

The word on the street is that Paul at least will be lip-synching, and various levels of backing tracks will be used...dunno if its true, but that's the scuttle-butt

This is very believable. We've all heard the Starqueen's voice
deteriorate over the past five or so years. Frankly I do not have a
big problem with it as I will not be going to any of these shows and
if it provides those that do attend a better experience then so be it.

I've held both the Starqueen and Fat Bat in contempt for many things
throughout their career but declining skills due to age is
understandable. I would be upfront about it though. I have more of an
issue with all the bullshit lines he through out on GMA a few weeks
    ago than lip synching.

On a side note, I saw Jethro Tull a few years back and they made it
perfectly clear that there would be recorded parts and that Ian could
not handle a full show. I attended and found it perfectly acceptable
in the way it was done.

Yep, I'm not going...I don't want my last KISS show to be a bad memory, this tour is MONUMENTALLY stupid. I can't guess what Paul and Gene are thinking, It has distaer written all over it.

If this lineup is all that is involved with this tour, Kiss wont sell
    out here
I certainly wouldn't waste my money
