A former New York psychiatrist and manager of the thunder rock group Kiss remained in jail Sunday, refusing to pay any of his back child support.

The New York Post said that Jesse Hilsen holds the record for deadbeat parents in the city.

Hilsen was arrested last year at his uncle's mansion in the Catskills after spending 10 years on the run in Europe and South Africa.

His ex-wife, Rita, believes he has concealed millions of dollars in assets overseas.

He reportedly owes his children $400,000 and his ex-wife $2 million.

Under the terms of the couple's 1988 divorce, Rita Hilsen was to receive $750 a week and the children $200 each, but her husband never paid up.

Two members of the thunder rock group Kiss were subpoenaed in 2003 to testify on Kiss's financial relationship with Hilsen.
