• Question about old bootleg tapes

From Beaver Fever@21:1/5 to All on Tue Nov 8 12:06:57 2022
I have way too many just sitting there taking up space.

Time to get rid of them.

    Lots of good stuff here.

Been out of the loop too long.

Any idea what I should charge for them?

Fuck that, this collection cost a lot of money to put together and has to be worth something.

Oh ok! Some Gen z dude wants some old Maxell II tapes. That can be downloaded elsewhere. Good luck.

Don't expect a high amount ROI (Return On Investment)

There is supposedly a cassette "revival."
Check out the pros and cons via youtube one thing will lead to
another and google up cassette revival and read a few articles and learn.
Also, try eBay & Etsy to see what others are selling their old GD tapes for.

What do you have? Do you have anything that hasn't been
released or is not on the Grateful Dead archive?

I never considered my tape collection an investment... it was an obsession. ;-) I gave mine away. I'm now doing the same with CDs.
