In my *humble* so-called opinion, Saint Stephen really should be about 7 to 8 minutes long
then flying into Mama Tried as a tribute to the original aborted performance.

True, they didn't make it to the Lady Finger part in the original.

I'd never seen any footage of the GD performance at Woodstock unti now so thanks for that.

The Woodstock set is the highlight of the Dead & Company tour, for me so far. Too much fun

Looking at this 2nd set, it's fine, but where does Deal fit in?
"Deal" made its live-on-stage debut on 02/19/1971 and vinyl debut on
Garcia LP was released 01/1972 but was recorded in July of 1971.
In my opinion, Deal just doesn't fit in here.

Standing On The Moon, a song from the GD future fits in well because
    of those events of July 16 - 24, 1969.

Although Ripple is a great song and a great performance here, I would substitute
the encore of Ripple for Uncle John's Band, New Speedway Boogie, or Casey Jones.
Or a double encore of NSB> UJB.
    Timeline.
