Um...if there is such a thing as a 9/5 or 13/5 beat, I want my money back from Esther Boyer School of Music at Temple U. We were told over the
course of four years that the bottom number is always 2, 4, 8, 16, 32,
some exponent of 2. Maybe Harry Partch has something to say about this.
