I've just (finally!) acquired a copy of Eric Taylor's 1981 LP
"Shameless Love" (from Canadian River Music [806-372-4203 from 11am
to 9pm CST], 4106 Tyler Street, Amarillo, TX 79110) and I'm
wondering if anybody can tell me who exactly Nathan Dean Taylor is.
On Taylor's 1995 CD he says at the end of the liner notes:

"The songs are in this box. They are only songs. My family
is the music. The music is Martha Seymour Taylor, Alexandra
Seymour Taylor, and Nathan Dean Taylor."

That's from 1995, and there's only one male in the picture
underneath that language, a male who looks old enough to have been
around in 1981 when Taylor wrote on the back of his first album:

"Jack Kerouac taught me that dreams are only real.
Nanci Griffith is proof that Jack was right.
Nathan Dean Taylor dreams for us all."

Now my question is this: Is Nathan Dean Taylor the guy in the
picture on the 1995 CD, and what exactly is his relation to Eric
Taylor? A child of his with Nanci Griffith, or from a previous
relationship, or a kid brother, or what? And is the female on the
right in the same picture his current wife? The little girl in the
center and the fellow on the left both seem to have Eric Taylor's
nose, so I'm guessing he's the father of both.

Thanks for any help anyone can be.

And BTW, getting Taylor's old LP plus the BF Deal Sampler (with
Nanci Griffith's first three recorded songs, none of which have
ever been rerecorded or rereleased) from Canadian River Music was
the best $20 I've spent in a long time! It you contact them, say
    I said that!

Nathan Dean Taylor - That would be me. I'm Eric Taylor's son. My mom is Sherin Meeting, my dad's first wife.
