I composed "Footprints on my stomach" around 1963, and sang it at the
1971 Philadelphia Folk Festival with Michael Cooney, with Dave Bromberg
on slide guitar. Taught it to Jean Redpath, who sang it in Carnegie Hall >around 1978. See youtu.be/ExGpQVPzpYA
