Review of available performances of Verdi's operas

I've been going through all of the Verdi operas in chronological order, partly to familiarize myself with them, especially the early ones, and selecting the performances I like best from the recordings readily available both commercially and on YouTube.
Let me say though I am only judging these based on the audio. I I cannot comment on the staging if you're interested in videos.
I've now gotten up to Verdi's 20th opera I Vespri Siciliani and have chosen six that I think are really good and will choose the one I like best in the next week or so.
If anyone is curious about the ones I've chosen as my favorite performances among the earlier operas, I'll be glad to share a list.
