For 'Anjaan', go towww.giitaayan.com, click on Films, click on A, go
    to page 5.
Looks like there have been 3 films of that name, and only one song
from the 1940s Anjaan has been listed, which happens to have Ashok
Kumar's voice in it. He had sung three more (total 4) songs in the
    film.

I had already seen the above.

Actually, three songs from this film are available online
(audio link). But these do not include the one I have been
looking for. This song is filmed on Ashok Kumar and probably
sung by him too. He is playing the piano. And, IIRC, it is
based on Bhairavi Raag. Maybe the Geet Kosh contains a list
of all songs from the above film. Can this list be furnished
    by some friend ?

Thank you very much. I think the song I was looking for is
    # 8 in that list --- "MaiN to tum se bandhi....bandhan tumhaara
pyaara". The "info" in my earlier messages is clearly off the
mark. But, somehow, I can't seem to get it out of my mind.

    Thanks again.

Around 1981, I happened to visit a relatively smaller city (as
compared to, say, Bombay. And, in a music shop, I heard this song
played on a record player. It was a ghazal, sung by Asha Bhosle.
The ghazal included this sher :

Na woh hamaare huwe, aur na hum rahe apne
MohabbatoN ka 'ajab kaarobaar hum ne kiya

When I asked the sop-owner about the film, he replied :
    "The Burning Train".

I saw the film a few days later, but the song was not there.
I didn't give it much thought, as there are quite a few examples
where songs get excluded from films for some reason or the other.

But even subsequently I didn't get to hear this song. Repeated
attempts to find the audio of the song on the Internet proved
    unsuccessful.

Can somebody please provide a link where I can listen to this
    song ?

    Thanks in advance.
