• KISHORE KUMAR, AMIT KUMAR AND KUMAR SANU

Kishoreda was a rainbow with much more than seven shades. Kumar Sanu copies only one shade of his throughout. Moreover, Kumar Sanu bleats like a goat. His voice appears similar in all his songs because of his lack of versatility. When Kishoreda takes
his voice to a higher pitch, there is no deterioration in the quality of his voice whereas Sanu’s voice becomes thin at a high pitch.

The manly bass and depth of Kishoreda is leagues ahead of that of Sanu. It is unfortunate that he passed away early because of which this pathetic version singer Sanu got an opportunity. This was pure luck for Sanu that he entered the industry at that
    opportune moment.

Had Kishored not passed away, Sanu would have been a chorus singer or at the most an orchestra singer in a night club.

just listen to “Zindagi ke Safar mein guzar jaate hain jo makam“ from the movie Aap Ki Kasam. And then listen to Sanu’s version of this song. It’ll take Sanu millions of births to even reach the toe nails of Kishoreda.

I remember so many schoolmates used to copy Kumar Sanu because it was so
easy to do so. Versatility of Kishore Da was difficult to copy in
    full. So true.

If we compare on the basis of Melody, Kumar Sanu is better .

    Sir,

What do you think Shabbir Kumar and Mohammad Aziz were?
Also please do not say that KK was not a GREAT singer. Rafi saab mahaan
the to Kishore Da bhi kuchch kam nahin the. He has his own place in playback singing very much like Rafi Saab. If you like to compare them in lighter
vein it is O.K but in no circumstances i will SERIOUSLY accept
    Rafi Saab > Kishore Da.

Also in my opinion Sochenge tumhe pyaar is a RIDICULOUS song with ridiculuos lyrics. 1992 was the year of Udit Narayan. Who can forget Pehla Nasha
Pehla Khumaar by Udit. But even Anil Kapoor got the FF award that year
for Beta so anything is possible. ("Yeh Paisa bolta hai")

Kumar Sanu can never sing extempore. The number of times he has won the
FF award not once could he even render the song on stage in SUR improptu.
I have each and every recording of those 5 years. He sounded good in
Kuchch na kaho but listen to the Maya Memsaab song "Ik Hasin (his pronounciation is miserable it should be haseen).

To end it Kumar Sanu sau baar janam lega aur sau baar marega to bhi
Kishore Da ke pairon ka nakhoon bhi nahin ban sakta.
