I found some very old posts from 2004 (Didn't know they had google groups then) where Vinay posted about creating a wiki for hindi Lyrics. But the link doesn't work anymore.
Does anyone have a link to a wiki? I already know about the gitayan website.

No Wiki of song lyrics? I thought it would be great to have one. Public participation is the only way to keep such a database updated in the long run. What do you think guys?

Song lyrics are copyrighted content owned by lyricists/labels. Most Indian lyrics websites operate under the radar without proper licenses in place. They're allowed to operate because they're too small for labels to bother about. A wiki project would be
