I have played piano for 5-6 years now, and I think I can improvise quite well, I know the most important chord theory and scale/mode theory, and I'm playing mostly blues and rock.
However, when I started to play, I didn't have a teacher, and I didn't have
a piano book, so I never really learned to play sheet music on the piano. I can read the treble clef fast since I play in a school band, but I'm quite slow at reading the bass clef, but I do understand it though, but my biggest problem is reading and playing both clefs at the same time. What would be
the best way to learn this? should I use a beginners piano book, or should I just try to play whatever sheet music I find?
I would appreciate any tips, maybe tips on books I could buy or similar....

can somebody please give me a little advice? I'm going to be starting
piano lessons shortly (I'm a total beginner), but as of yet have no instrument to practice on. Buying a piano is out of the question due to
price and living conditions so i'm looking for a used keyboard. I've been told (more than once) of the benefits of learning on a piano as opposed to
a keyboard, but unfortunately that will not be happening. So, my question: can somebody let me know some of the things to look for when buying a keyboard and maybe recommending some particular models? So far, the only concrete advice has been weighted keys, any comment?
thanks alot for any and all replys,
stein
