Not sure if he’s sold it yet but I would look at the serial numbers on the 1st valve, their is a website that will show the year if it if newer (20 Years or younger) I would suggest 1,000 if it has original case and original mouthpiece anything older
and he will be lucky to get 850 out of it, I have a king 627 baritone, they are very dependable student horns
