I heard there was a somewhat new band called "Grotus" (who may be from
the NW USA), that sounds kinda like a mix between Ministry and NIN. I
have never heard the band, so I can't say that that is true or not, but
if it is, people here might be interested in checking them out.
If anyone has any info/insights, please post or e-mail.
Thanks,

Well, since you asked, I'll give Grotus a plug...The first cool
thing about them is that they spell "Grotus" with umlauts (sp?)
over all of the consonants.
Grotus is from San Francisco. They've been together for about 3-4
years, and have one full cd out now (Brown), and about 3 7-inches,
all on Spirit Records (SF Label). They've signed with ALternative
Tentacles, and I think their recording another lp right now.
THEY DO NOT SOUND LIKE NIN!! Please don't say this to them or
they'll hurt you. They do have an "indutrial-esque" Foetus sound,
but they do have a sense of humor.
Much recommended.
